Coming from a family rooted in Buddhism, shamanism, and animism, Ruoxi Jin explores, through her artistic practice, the porous boundaries between life and death, the individual and the Other. Her installation work unfolds as a transcultural, transreligious, and even interspecies quest, examining identity as a shifting and constantly redefined territory.
